So, it's a brand new year again.

Practically there isn't any difference; just that you need to hang up a new calendar.

However, let's not be emo.

2011 felt short.
Yet, a lot of things happened within this one year.
Had a lot of new experience, both physically and emotionally.

Some of the highlights of 2011 are,

Received best student awards for my A-level results and I was really happy about that.
Got my driving license.
Working part time for the second time; being a teacher for the first time. (Note: The feeling of receiving salaries was really good~)
Went to KL with a bunch of my friends for the very first time.
Became a Uni student and moved into hostel, that makes me somehow more independent.
Did assignments throughout the night without sleeping for the first time and going to school the next morning feeling like a zombie.

Of course that's not all of it. If I were to list down every single thing that happened in 2011, it would be a long long essay, which will even bore me.

I'll just skip the sad parts.

In conclusion, 2011 was a not-so-good year for me.

But since it's a brand new year, let's just let the sad memories stay in 2011, and bring forward the happy ones to 2012.

I believe that 2012 will be a better year. :)

I know it's not a new movie anymore, but the idea in the movie is quite terrifying somehow.

Dreams.

Everyone dreams.

But sometimes they really feel so real that you can't differentiate if it's a dream or reality.

What if the things happened in the movie could really happen in real life?

What if people can really go into your dream and extract important information from it?

What if someone can really be stuck in a dream forever and never know it?

That idea itself scares me.

It made me think if the world I'm in is reality or a dream.

If I'm in a dream, what happened to the people around me?

If I'm in a dream, what happened to the real me in the real world?

So on and so on....

But I got tired in the end and stopped thinking.

Whether it's reality or dream, just live your live to the fullest. :)

But I believed I'm living in reality.

But then again, it's all up to you to believe it or not.

On new year eve, we decided to do something wild and we ended up watching the very first sunrise of 2011. We spent the night out until morning 6+am of 1/1/2011. Without sleeping. It was the very first time I actually go lepak around after midnight. The previous times, even if I didnt sleep, I stayed indoor.

And these were what we saw:

Studying in SMSA has made me broke quite a few of my records.

1. Having so many files & papers for the first time.

2. Didn't finish reading my notes and went for exams for the first time.

3. Met the most ridiculously wth teacher.

4. Hating teacher for the first time. *Note: It's hate, not dislike.

5. Stepping into the school's toilet for less than 10 times in these 2 years of Pre-U.

6. Using the school's toilet for less than 5 times in these 2 years of Pre-U.

7. Seeing so many beetles everywhere in school for the first time.

8. The number of presentations in these 2 years is more than that of the past 13 years of KG + Primary + Secondary school life.

9. Skipping (extra) classes for the first time.

So far that's all I can think about. Will add again if I've thought of something else. :D

Almost all the horoscopes I read about are saying that Geminis are very sociable. But I don't think I'm very sociable. In fact, I can be quite anti-social sometimes, especially when I'm not quite in the mood.

They say Geminis talk a lot. I do talk a lot with people I'm closer to sometimes, but with people I'm not close to, I just don't know what's the right thing to say.

Am I the exceptional case for a Gemini? Because the most significant descriptions of a Gemini don't really apply to me. =/

However, there are still some descriptions that I agreed.

I do believe that I have two sides. Not split personality nor two-faced kind, but something like two "seasons" of personality/mood.

There is one season where I'll be all happy and chatty, but there's also one in which I'll be emoshit.

Ga In & Jo Kwon

Recently, I've been watching episodes of Ga In (BEG) and Jo Kwon (2AM) on this korean TV show called "We Got Married", where they are living as a pair of married couple in the show. But of course it's only in the show.

The TV show shows their daily life on how they are getting along and stuffs. And I must say, they are really really cute together. They're the couple that will make you go "AWWWWW~" when you watch the show. Seriously!

They do sweet things for each other, but it's not like those in movies. This is actually a reality show so the things they do in the show, they really did it in reality. Like once, JoKwon called the radio to confess something to the wife (Ga In) and the radio station really aired the things he said, so basically the whole Korea could listen to what he said on the radio. It feels like they're really couples. It makes you believe that someone can really be so sweet in reality and not in movies only.

I really like them. I hope they date in real life too! :D

Try watching it if you haven't already watch it. The episodes can't be found so easily though, especially epi 1 to epi 25. If someone managed to find them, please kindly let me know. ;)

p.s. - I'm not a Korean freak or what. I seldom even watch Korean movies. But I just love this. ;)

Recently, I've been re-reading One Piece and I'm totally addicted to it.

I must say, it's amazing.

The artist must have to have really great imaginations to think of so many different characters, with all the ridiculous looks and stuffs. Funny, touching, serious-ness -- all in it. It has 590 episodes for the manga already now, and it's still releasing. I bet the artist is stressing to think of storyline that makes people go WOW!, especially when the publisher rushes him to pass up the next episode. I'm still at epi 300+, and I'm definitely looking forward to how the story goes. ;D

One piece is definitely in my favorite list of mangas.

Fairy tail is still the first though. ;)

Maturity vs Depression.

Somehow I realized that,
the older you are, the longer you'll get depressed over something.

When we were little kids, we could cry or be sad at many things, but it hardly last for few hours. All you need to do is to give us candies or ice-cream and we'll be all happy again. It's just so easy to get over the sadness when we're young.

Then, we reached teenage. We became more mature and more thoughtful. At this age, we start to learn how to strengthen friendships, how to love, how to care for others. The things that can make us sad differ now. We get sad over something more mature now. But also, the sadness last longer now. It could be a few days, weeks, or even months.

Then again, we'll be reaching adulthood. We'll be facing different things again. We work, we meet new people, we marry. Now, the usual causes of sadness will be money, work or family. And it'll most probably be a long-term case now, which lasts for at least months, or years.

Does this mean that maturity is directly proportional to depression? The more mature you are, the longer period of time you'll be depressed?

If that's the case, let's not be mature.
Let's be childish! :)

1. Do not target his/her bffs.

I've already tried to fit them in without having the scroll bars appearing for Mozilla, but for the affiliates part, boh bian, too long to shorten. As for IE, I chose to ignore it since I'm using mozilla and I think most people use Mozilla too? :D

I realised that, when we were young, we tend to have more friends.

In kindergarten, we always had activities together as a whole. Like, whole class go playground play or something like that. We were able to blend in the class quite easily.

Slowly, when we grew up, you can see that the big group of people shrinks. Or should I say, divides. Into smaller groups of people. By this time, it's not that easy to blend in anymore, if you don't have a group of your own to start with.

I think, this is most likely due to kids are naive, they normally won't dislike or discriminate like what we do now. When kids grew up, they slowly learn about the harshness of reality, and become more cautious, causing them to not make friends so easily anymore.

If the pattern goes on, will we end up being alone some time later in our life? If it will, that's saddening..

Sometimes I just envy people who can totally express themselves in either words or actions.

I am definitely not that kind of people. I find 100% exposing yourself to other people insecure. It's like giving chances to other people to find your weaknesses and hurt you again, pushing you down a bottomless black hole of all the negatives. Okay, maybe that was exaggerated, but yea, I feel insecure. So when anything negative happens, I just smile it off most of the time, and be okay awhile later. Is it Gemini or what? I forgive almost everything, easily. However, I don't forget if it had quite a big impact on me.

I've been really lazy to blog these days although it's holiday. But i don't feel like letting my blog to die just like that.. so here i am.

For the past few days, i was addicted to some flash games at Eyezmaze. The games are good, especially the Grow series. Good short games to pass your free time and work your brain. Well, if you're into puzzle games, then you'll definitely love it. If you find puzzle games boring, then you might not like it, but why not give it a try? :)

Macam advertising for the website eh. Hahah. But well, i personally love some of the games there though.

Okay, advertising part over. Now, let's see what i am supposed to finish during the holidays.
